Chris Trunkey
joined Phoenix Pictures in August 2001. In September 2002
he became Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the
company's finance, accounting, information technology and
administrative functions.
Trunkey is a motion picture industry
veteran with over 15 years of financial and management experience,
which includes serving as CFO of Kings Road Entertainment,
producer of All of Me, The Big Easy and the Kickboxer franchise.
Most recently, Chris was CFO for National Lampoon, based in
Los Angeles, California. During tenure at these positions,
Trunkey was instrumental in strengthening financial performance,
streamlining operations and building the credibility of both
companies with financial markets and investors.
At National Lampoon, he helped
successfully implement that company’s revitalized branding
strategy. As CFO of Kings Road Entertainment, Trunkey led
successful equity placements and managed the sale of the Kings
Road’s film library to Icon Productions.
Previously, Trunkey spent several years at Reeves Entertainment
in various positions including senior director of financial
planning. Reeves was a producer of numerous network television
series including Kate and Allie and Homicide: Life on the
Street.
Trunkey holds a finance degree from Drake University.
