Edward McGurn started at Phoenix Pictures as executive assistant to Brad Fischer in 2007. He was promoted to creative executive in 2009 and to vice-president of production in early 2011. Prior to joining Phoenix, McGurn worked as an assistant director and as a comercial line-producer.

McGurn was born in Paris, France, and is a graduate of Yale University.
